Accessibility statement

Version 1.0 · In force from 22 October 2026

We want everyone to be able to use the Black FX website. It is designed to:

• work on phones, tablets and computers, and at up to 200% zoom without losing content;
• work with a keyboard alone, with clearly visible focus and a "Skip to content" link;
• work with screen readers, using headings, labelled form fields and text descriptions of images;
• use plain English and strong colour contrast, never relying on colour alone;
• respect your device's "reduce motion" setting: the slideshow, light beams, embers and other animations stop;
• work without JavaScript, which is used only for animations and small conveniences.

Known limitations

• The home page slideshow moves on by itself. You can pause it with the pause button, or turn on "reduce motion" on your device.
• The enquiry form opens your own email app. If that doesn't suit you, email info@blackfx.co.uk or call +44 (0)7585 607719 instead.
• Some older photographs have short descriptions only.

Reporting a problem

If anything on this website is difficult to use, please email info@blackfx.co.uk or call us. We aim to reply within 5 working days. We are working towards WCAG 2.2 level AA.
