We rebuilt blackfx.co.uk from scratch in 2026, replacing an old WordPress site. It’s built the same way we build sites for clients.

What we built
- A custom design in the Black FX colours, styled like flight cases
- No WordPress, plugins or database, so there’s much less to go wrong or get hacked
- Fast on phones: photos are sized for each screen and only load when they’re needed
- Strict security settings, with no tracking, cookies or third-party scripts
- Privacy notice, cookies, terms and accessibility pages included

Mac app
ScriptPlan
We also make apps. ScriptPlan is a Mac app for prompt books: you add cues to a PDF script and run the show from it. It can send cues to QLab, ETC Eos and MIDI Show Control.

Tour Plan
A web app for running tours. We’re testing it on our own tours at the moment.
- Itinerary, schedules and day sheets, with PDF and Excel exports
- Hotels, rooming lists, routes and drive times
- Guest lists, passes and set lists
- Merch stock, nightly counts and settlements
- Gear lists and carnet lists
- Crew get their day on their phone, including when there’s no signal
